MISSION STATEMENT

Eyemocean.com is the home of Mark Harding's underwater photography and video work. I aim to provide beautiful and thought provoking imagery which has excellent playback quality for film stock and excellent quality for digital print media for photo stock. I have been working as a commercial photographer for a number of years and understand the needs of a demanding and constantly changing market. Whilst I love the underwater world, and enjoy making beautiful images, I realise that this is a fragile world under enormous pressure. As an image and film maker, I see this as a priority to bring the problems associated with those pressures to the public attention. That is why here on this site you will find my film projects take a prominent role, so please take a look at the projects page to see how you can help. As ever, funding is a constant issue so please consider carefully if you would be in a position to help with a donation. I consider it essential that these projects are brought to fruition, so I am in the process of setting up a foundation to try to address the problems brought to light in my shark project, and also in association with my Ecuadorean friends and associates, am now offering diving and wildlife tours to the galapagos and also mainland ecuador, with a precentage of this income going straight to the shark project foundation.
