| This page is where you can find links to conservation societies and organisations. Hopefully this page will go a little way towards helping prevent the wholesale destruction that is taking place on our planet. Having spent the last three years living in a 'Developing Country', I have been horrified at the level of damage being wreaked on the natural resources of our precious earth. The combination of multinational greed, host country poverty, local and national government corruption and lack of environmental protection is ensuring that much will be destroyed long before we even have a chance to fully understand what exists in our wild places. Foremost in my concern is the damage done to our oceans. Because we don't see that world on a day to day basis, it is often neglected, or worse, not even considered as being in danger. It is estimated that many shark populations will reach the point of collapse within the next 10 to 15 years, such is the pressure from our shark meat industries.
